History

Ethan is the oldest of three children to the Blackwood family, a half-blooded family. His parents had only been dating for about a year when his mother had found out that she was pregnant with Ethan. The wizarding world didn't come as a major shock to her as she & her boyfriend both had attended& graduated from Ilvermorny. Upon breaking the news to their family, they were all excited except for his grandmother on his father's side. She was more concerned about what people would think, having a baby without even being married. So she quickly planned a wedding for the two, only inviting close family to the event.

When Ethan turned two years old his mother had given birth to another a baby, his younger sister; Holly. And a year after that his mother gave birth to the baby of the family; Alexander. The siblings grew up very close to each other, and like most siblings they did bicker from time to time. With his father being an Auror and working late hours, he didn't always get to spend a lot of time with him and became rather close to his mother. This resulted in the neighborhood children teasing him and calling him a momma's boy. Though he did hate the term, he fought any kid that called him that which got him into trouble a lot. His mother had taught him to think before he act, to see if what he would do would get him into any sort of trouble.

Upon Ethan's 11th birthday he received his letter to Ilvermorny. After that his parents took him school supply shopping and even bought him an orange Tabby cat that he named Felix. During the Sorting Ceremony he was scared that none of the houses would pick him & that he would have to go back home. But as soon as he stepped onto the Gordian Knot the Horned Serpent's crystal on it's forehead glowed immediately. Two years later his younger sister got her letter as well and then a year after that his brother got his letter. During his fifth year, Ethan became the Prefect for Horned Serpent and during his seventh year he became Head Boy. Currently in his seventh year, Ethan plans on becoming an Auror just like his father & has been studying hard to do so.
